AI search optimization for a cleaning company
A growing share of "who should clean my house" questions never reach a results page. Someone asks an assistant, gets three names with a sentence about each, and calls one. Those answers are assembled from pages the model can read: your site, your Google profile, review text and directory listings.
Cleaning companies are easy to make citable because the questions are concrete. What does a move-out clean cost. Do they bring supplies. Are they insured. Do they work Saturdays. If your site answers those in plain sentences with real numbers, you get quoted. If it says "quality service you can trust," you do not.
The mistake is treating this as a keyword exercise. Models pull short factual statements, so the work is structural: a pricing page with ranges, a service area page naming towns and zip codes, an insurance statement, and clear hours. Most competitors have none of it. At two weeks you have a baseline of how often you are named, and the pages that make you nameable.
